NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile investigated the viral video and found it to be AI-generated and digitally manipulated.
A reverse image search of multiple keyframes from the video, along with relevant keyword searches, found no credible evidence supporting the claim. NewsMobile could not find any verified video, official social media post or credible media report showing Salman Khan and Salim Khan together in the manner depicted in the viral clip. Salman Khan has also not shared the video on his verified social media accounts.
A frame-by-frame analysis of the footage revealed several tell-tale signs of AI manipulation, including unnatural facial features, inaccurate lip-sync, distorted body movements, inconsistent body proportions, and irregular lighting and shadows. The background also appears overly smooth, lacking the depth and texture typically seen in authentic footage.
To further verify the claim, NewsMobile analysed the footage using Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool. The tool flagged the video as AI-generated with a high probability score, providing further evidence that the viral footage is digitally fabricated.
In conclusion, the viral video claiming to show Salman Khan and Salim Khan together addressing fans is false. The footage shows clear signs of AI manipulation, and analysis using Hive Moderation further indicates that it is AI-generated. The video is therefore digitally fabricated and does not depict a genuine event.
