Apple is set to host its “Surprise and shine” event on September 9 at Apple Park in Cupertino, with the iPhone 18 Pro series and the company’s first foldable iPhone expected to headline the launch.
The event will also likely introduce new Apple Watch models and AirPods, marking the first major product event under CEO John Ternus.

The event begins at 10 am PT (10:30 pm IST) on September 9. Indian viewers can watch it live on Apple’s website, the Apple TV app and YouTube.

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to retain 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays while receiving camera and internal upgrades.
Reports point to Apple’s A20 Pro chip, potentially based on 2nm technology, improved battery life and a smaller Dynamic Island. A variable-aperture main camera could be exclusive to the Pro Max, while under-display Face ID remains unconfirmed.
First Foldable iPhone
Apple is widely expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone, reportedly using a book-style design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold. Leaks suggest 5.5-inch and 7.8-inch displays, dual rear cameras, Touch ID and a redesigned hinge aimed at reducing the screen crease. It could carry “Ultra” branding and cost more than $2,500 (around ₹2.6 lakh).
Apple Watch and AirPods
The Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 may debut with new health features, sensors, colours and a possible ceramic case. New AirPods could also arrive with health-tracking capabilities.
Notably, the standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and second-generation iPhone Air are reportedly being delayed until spring 2027, leaving this launch focused on premium devices.
