New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called on BRICS member countries to translate the outcomes of the 18th BRICS Summit into concrete, time-bound actions, stressing that the grouping must move beyond discussions and deliver real-world impact.
Concluding the two-day summit in New Delhi, Modi said the New Delhi Declaration would provide direction to the shared vision of BRICS members.
He emphasised that the responsibility now lies with member nations to convert the decisions and frameworks discussed during the summit into measurable outcomes.
“BRICS must move from files to real-life impact,” Modi said, underlining the need for effective implementation of the agreements and initiatives discussed by the grouping.
The Prime Minister described BRICS as an “ecosystem of solutions” rather than merely a group of countries, highlighting its growing role in promoting cooperation and inclusiveness.
The summit brought together leaders and representatives of the 11-member BRICS grouping, with discussions over the past two days aimed at strengthening cooperation across key areas.
Modi said the deliberations had reinforced BRICS’ commitment to greater inclusiveness and a shared approach to global challenges.
He stressed that the New Delhi Declaration should not remain a statement of intent but serve as a roadmap for coordinated action.
With the summit now concluded, the focus shifts to implementing its outcomes and ensuring that BRICS initiatives translate into tangible benefits for member countries and the wider Global South.
