Woman Biker Hit By Car On Gurugram’s Golf Course Road | WATCH

Gurugram: A Gurugram woman biker was chased and hit by a car while riding on Golf Course Road on Sunday, leaving her shaken and raising fresh concerns over road safety in the city.

The rider, who identifies herself as Sia and runs the Instagram page rebelwheels_sia_, shared footage of the incident recorded on an action camera mounted on her Aprilia RS 457. The video shows the motorcycle being struck and dragged several metres as the woman was thrown off the bike.

Woman Alleges Car Was Chasing Her

According to Sia, she was riding with members of her biking group when the occupants of a car began following her.

In a video posted on Instagram, she alleged that the people inside the car behaved aggressively and asked her to stop. She said she asked them to maintain distance but claimed they continued to pursue her.

Sia also alleged that the men appeared to be drunk.

She said she tried to keep moving to prevent the car from blocking her motorcycle, while a friend riding behind her attempted to intervene and stop the vehicle from coming alongside her.

According to her account, the car continued to follow her before the driver allegedly tried to cut in front of her bike. The vehicle then struck the motorcycle, causing her to fall, after which the car allegedly fled the spot.

“I have nothing to say, but today I felt unsafe on Gurugram roads. People like these aren’t afraid of hitting people and running away,” Sia said while recounting the incident.

Friend Chased Car After Crash

Sia further alleged that one of her friends chased the car following the collision and managed to confront the driver at a traffic signal.

Her friend reportedly told the driver that he was responsible for the crash. However, the driver denied any wrongdoing and drove away.

The action-camera footage captured the sequence of events and was later shared online by Sia.

Rider Appeals To Gurugram Police

Sia has appealed to Gurugram Police to take action against the driver, particularly over what she described as dangerous driving followed by an alleged attempt to flee the scene.

She also shared the vehicle’s registration number and identified the name of the registered owner of the car in her post.

The incident has renewed concerns among motorists and bikers over aggressive driving, road safety and accountability after crashes in Gurugram.

Video Triggers Calls For Action

The video drew significant attention on social media, with users tagging Gurugram Police, Gurugram Traffic Police, Delhi Police and Haryana Police and urging authorities to investigate the incident.

Several users called for an FIR and action against the driver, while others expressed concern over the safety of two-wheeler riders on Gurugram’s roads.

The allegations made by the rider have not been independently verified. It was not immediately clear whether police had registered a case or taken action against the vehicle owner or driver.
