Gurugram: Biker and Instagram creator Sia, who was involved in a road accident on Golf Course Road, has hit back at Kalyan Bainsla, the man accused of hitting her motorcycle, questioning his claim that he felt sorry for her after the crash.
In her first video reaction to Bainsla’s comments, Sia challenged his version of events and said videos of the incident clearly show how the car moved toward her motorcycle before the collision.
“If you felt so sorry for me, then why didn’t you stop? I could have died on the spot,” Sia said in the nearly three-minute video posted on social media.

Sia was responding to an interview in which Bainsla said he did not know whether the biker was a man or a woman and claimed only one side of the incident had been shown. He also said he felt “very sorry” for the woman.
Rejecting his account, Sia said the occupants of the car appeared to have followed her for a considerable distance.
“If you felt we were speeding up and slowing down repeatedly, then what was the reason for chasing me throughout the route?” she asked.
She also questioned Bainsla’s claim that he did not know a woman was riding the motorcycle.
“You saw my hair. You came close to me. You made gestures. You signalled for me to stop the bike. And now you are saying you did not even know a woman was riding it,” she said.
Addressing his comments about the presence of around 22 to 23 people at the scene and the emergence of only two videos, Sia said the footage itself provides evidence of what happened.
She said one video shows the car moving toward the third lane before striking her motorcycle and driving away. According to Sia, footage recorded on her own camera shows the car moving from the first lane toward the third lane, hitting her motorcycle and dragging her along before she fell onto the road.
“Are those two videos still not enough for you?” she said.
Sia also questioned Bainsla’s claim that he felt sympathy for her, saying his actions immediately after the crash did not reflect concern for her safety.
“If you really felt sorry for me, then why didn’t you stop? It was your responsibility. If you hit me, you should have stopped and checked whether I was injured,” she said.
She said the consequences could have been much more serious.
“I could have suffered much more serious injuries. My bones could have been broken. I could have died on the spot,” she said.
Sia further said such incidents contribute to women feeling unsafe while travelling on roads in Delhi and Gurugram.
### ‘Bike Dragged Nearly 300 Metres’
Sia has filed a complaint with Gurugram Police over the September 13 incident, alleging that she was harassed before her motorcycle was hit by a white Maruti Suzuki Ciaz on Golf Course Road.
According to her complaint, she was riding toward Biker Barn Cafe with a group of friends at around 7 a.m. when they encountered the car bearing registration number HR30L4949.
She alleged that the occupants appeared to be intoxicated and repeatedly tried to harass her and stop her motorcycle.
“When I crossed them, they suddenly crossed my path and hit my bike,” she said in the complaint.
Sia alleged that the impact caused her motorcycle to be dragged for nearly 300 metres before the occupants of the car fled.
Her friends reportedly tried to chase the vehicle but were unable to stop it.
Meanwhile, Sia’s brother said she escaped serious injuries but has since developed significant muscle pain, body aches and abrasions.
He said the initial adrenaline following the crash had masked some of the pain, which became more pronounced later.
“She is physically okay, but she has started experiencing significant pain now. Initially, the adrenaline in her system masked it, but now she is suffering from severe muscle pulls and widespread body pain,” he said.
Her brother also said an FIR had been registered at the Sector 56 police station, with the family seeking charges related to harassment, attempted murder and hit-and-run.
He said Sia’s statement would also be recorded by police as the investigation progresses.
