Ella Langley Cancels Sold-Out Tulsa Concert Over Serious Security Threat

: US country music singer Ella Langley has called off her sold-out concert in Tulsa following a reported security threat involving possible gunfire and explosives.

The 27-year-old singer cancelled Friday night’s performance at the 19,000-capacity BOK Center approximately two hours before the scheduled start.

In an Instagram post, she described the decision as incredibly difficult, citing concerns for the safety of her fans, venue employees and team members.

Tulsa Police Department Captain Richard Meulenberg said authorities received a phone call warning that “great harm” would be caused at the event, with “shots fired and bombs”.

Police had inspected the venue several times ahead of the concert but found no indication of danger. Following the call, officers conducted another search of the arena with sniffer dogs.

Meulenberg said authorities were unable to identify a credible threat, adding that the caller had disrupted an event attended by thousands of fans.

Langley did not disclose further details about the incident. However, she apologised to disappointed concertgoers and said information about ticket refunds would be provided as soon as possible.

The BOK Center also confirmed the cancellation, stating that the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved remained its top priority. The venue apologised to fans who had planned to attend the performance.
