People have been advised to move immediately to the nearest safe location inside a building, preferably an interior room away from windows. They should remain indoors until the danger has passed and avoid open spaces, glass windows, balconies and rooftops.
Those who are outdoors have been instructed to enter the nearest building or seek protection behind a solid barrier. The guidelines also warn people against visiting dangerous locations or gathering in crowded areas.
Additionally, people have been advised not to take photographs during the emergency situation and to strictly follow directions issued by the authorities.
The Indian Embassy has urged nationals to remain alert and comply with the safety measures as security concerns continue in the region.
