The NM team investigated the viral image and found that the original photograph shows Neha Bora with YouTuber Dhruv Rathee. The original photograph was found on both Dhruv Rathee’s and Neha Bora’s official Instagram handles, where it was shared as a collaborative post on October 14.

For further verification, we ran the viral image through Hive Moderation, an AI-detection tool, which flagged the image as AI-generated or manipulated.
Although Shashi Tharoor and Neha Bora have met and shared photographs together, the specific image circulating online does not authentically show them together as claimed.
