Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) activist Abhijeet Dipke on Friday accused the Centre of diverting security forces from their primary responsibility of protecting the country’s borders to managing protests in the national capital.
In a post on X, Dipke alleged that deploying forces to restrict demonstrations by citizens could compromise national security and criticised the government for strengthening security arrangements in Delhi to prevent protests.
Yeah, because forces that should be protecting our borders are being deployed to stop citizens from protesting.
Modi is putting national security at risk by using security forces against his own countrymen.
The priority should be securing our borders, not turning Delhi into a fortress to suppress peaceful protests.

He said the focus should remain on securing the country’s borders rather than using security personnel to contain peaceful demonstrations in the capital.
Dipke’s remarks came after Congress MP Jairam Ramesh accused the Centre of making concessions to China and failing to adequately address border tensions. Ramesh also alleged that India had lost patrolling points in Arunachal Pradesh.
The allegations come amid opposition criticism of the government’s handling of national security and restrictions on protests in Delhi. The claims regarding border concessions and patrolling points were made by the opposition and were not independently established in the statements cited.
