Elon Musk has announced a new feature for X Money that will allow users to send $1 to another person by long-pressing the Like button on a post.
Musk revealed the proposed feature in a post on X on October 25, as the platform expands its digital payment services.

The feature is intended to simplify small payments between users and could make it easier to tip creators or support content directly through existing social media interactions.
Details regarding its wider availability, eligibility requirements and rollout schedule have not yet been disclosed.
X Money has launched in the United States, offering peer-to-peer transfers and an X Visa debit card for online and in-store purchases.
Access to the service and its features remains subject to account eligibility and applicable terms.
The debit card can also be linked to Apple Pay for contactless payments where supported. The service promotes benefits related to international transactions, although conditions may vary.
The new tipping feature forms part of Musk’s broader ambition to transform X, formerly Twitter, into an “everything app” combining social networking, communications and financial services on a single platform.
For now, X Money’s rollout remains focused on the US market. The company has not announced an official launch date for India, where digital payments are widely used through services such as the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
