The move came despite a Brazilian Supreme Court directive requiring him to surrender his passports within 24 hours.
Flavio, the son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, travelled with his wife and two daughters through Argentina and Ecuador before reaching the United States on Wednesday.
The Trump administration granted the family entry visas, while footage showed them arriving at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport aboard a private jet.
His departure followed a court order linked to an ongoing money-laundering investigation, in which he denies any wrongdoing. Before leaving, Flavio had said he would comply with the passport directive and defend himself against what he described as an attempt to intimidate him.
The journey has raised questions about his political intentions, particularly as he could lose parliamentary immunity from prosecution when his Senate term ends in February. His arrival in the US could also put further strain on relations between Washington and Brasilia.
