NM VERIFIED

NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the image is AI-generated.

The NM team initiated its verification by conducting a reverse image search using Google Lens. However, the search did not yield any credible news reports or independent sources corroborating the claim that the image depicted an actual RSS procession in Kannur.

With no credible evidence available to establish the authenticity of the image, we proceeded to examine whether it had been generated using artificial intelligence.

The viral image was analysed using Hive Moderation, an AI-detection tool. The analysis indicated a 95% probability that the image was AI-generated.

Hence, it is evident that the viral image is AI-generated and does not establish that an RSS march took place in Kannur as claimed in the social media posts.
