The FBI has added fugitive Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, citing his alleged links to organised crime, targeted killings, extortion and narcotics trafficking.
The agency announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.
Brar is the 543rd person added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list since it was created in 1950. The bureau said he is wanted on federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, extortion-related offences and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
The FBI described Brar as “extremely violent, armed, and dangerous” and said he is known to reside in California and parts of Canada.
According to the FBI, Brar is allegedly a North American leader of the Lawrence Bishnoi organised crime group, which authorities accuse of involvement in killings, kidnappings, extortion and the trafficking of narcotics and weapons.
The allegations are part of Operation Hardball, a yearslong US investigation into India-based transnational organised crime groups.
The FBI also alleges that Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi ordered the 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
A wider indictment further alleges that the Bishnoi enterprise stole about 520 kilograms of cocaine from rival groups in the Los Angeles area between March 2024 and July 2025.
The FBI has advised the public not to approach Brar and instead provide any information directly to law enforcement.
In India, Brar is also wanted in multiple criminal cases and was designated a terrorist in 2024.
