“Together, we’ve transformed the ties between our ancient civilizations into an unprecedented partnership between two great democracies. Sara and I look forward to seeing you again soon,” he added.
Earlier, PM Modi had wished Netanyahu, the people of Israel and Jewish communities worldwide a happy Rosh Hashanah, praying for “peace, hope, good health and continued progress for all.”
Modi delivered the greetings while addressing the opening day of the 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi.
On the same day, BRICS leaders unanimously adopted the New Delhi Declaration 2026. The declaration expressed concern over escalating West Asia tensions and called for restraint, civilian protection, dialogue and diplomacy to promote lasting peace and stability.
