Washington: US President Donald Trump has described his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping as “productive”, saying in a Truth Social post that “tremendous things will be happening” following their talks.
Trump also highlighted artificial intelligence as an area discussed during the meeting. Referring to the term “artificial intelligence”, he wrote, “Like almost everyone else, he seemed to like calling the poorly and inaccurately named artificial intelligence to a far more accurate and important name: super intelligence. That would be ‘super!’ Everyone last night agreed, also,”

The White House state summit was marked by significant symbolism, but there were no indications of major breakthroughs between the United States and China, the world’s two largest economies.
Trump pointed to progress through a bilateral trade mechanism, specifically mentioning what he described as greater market access for US farmers and ranchers.
Both Trump and Xi also identified artificial intelligence as an area where the two countries could cooperate.
