US President Donald Trump used his Labor Day message to launch a sharp attack on his political opponents, accusing them of trying to “destroy” the country.
In a post on Truth Social on Monday, Trump addressed what he described as the “Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, and Dumocrats,” before turning his attention to the upcoming US midterm elections.
“Happy Labor Day to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, and Dumocrats who will do anything possible to destroy our Country,” he wrote. “These Deranged People, after fighting for 10 years, should finally acknowledge that your Favorite President (ME!), knows how to WIN!”

Trump also predicted a major Republican victory in the midterms, saying, “They should be exhausted by now but, sadly, they’re not. They’re going to give it one last shot at ruining America, but we’re not going to let that happen. We’re going to win the Midterms, BIG, and SAVE AMERICA!”
His post came a day after he shared more than 37 posts, including memes and AI-generated clips featuring himself and mocking political opponents.
The posts included unusual images involving historical figures, New Mexico, the moon and pop culture characters, drawing criticism and ridicule from opponents and commentators.
