Trump Warns Iran Of “Big Things” As US Weighs Military And Diplomatic Options

Washington, D.C.: US President Donald Trump says he has entered a decisive phase in determining his next steps in the ongoing conflict with Iran, warning that “very big things are going to be happening in the not-so-distant future.”

In an interview with News Agency, Trump outlined three possible approaches: launching a devastating attack, allowing Iran’s economy to deteriorate, or pursuing a diplomatic agreement. He also warned Tehran to change its behaviour, saying, “They had better behave.”

Ahead of the United Nations General Assembly high-level week in New York, Trump indicated he would “probably be open” to meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Meanwhile, the US administration is examining possible military action against Yemen’s Houthis following their missile attack targeting Riyadh, which Saudi forces intercepted.

Trump returned to the White House early after cutting short his stay at Camp David, where discussions reportedly included potential strike options against the group.

US embassies across the Middle East have issued security warnings to American citizens amid concerns over possible retaliation.

Iran’s security chief Mohsen Rezaei said Tehran had conveyed conditions for ending hostilities through Qatari mediation, including an end to fighting on all fronts, the release of frozen funds and the lifting of the naval blockade.
