NewsMobile investigated the viral post and found the claims to be false.

We first conducted a keyword search to look for reports of an aircraft losing control and spinning on the tarmac at Ahmedabad airport during Cyclone Arnab. However, we could not find any credible media report confirming such an incident.

The NewsMobile team then closely analysed the viral video and noticed several visual inconsistencies commonly associated with AI-generated content.

The text visible on the aircraft appears distorted and incoherent. The movement of the ground staff running near the aircraft also appears unnatural.

At one point in the video, a member of the ground staff appears to collide with the spinning aircraft. However, despite the apparent impact, the person seemingly remains unharmed, further raising doubts about the authenticity of the footage.

Taking a cue from these inconsistencies, we analysed the viral video using Hive Moderation, an AI-content detection tool. The tool assessed the video as having an 81.7% probability of being AI-generated.

We further checked the visuals using another AI-detection tool, Isfake.ai, which also indicated that the footage was likely generated using Artificial Intelligence.

The absence of any credible report about such an incident at Ahmedabad airport, coupled with the visual anomalies and results from multiple AI-detection tools, confirms that the viral footage does not depict a real event.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show aircraft rotating on the tarmac as ground support equipment crashes into it and airport staff run for safety, is false.
