NewsMobile investigated the viral video and found it to be AI-generated and digitally manipulated.
To verify the claim, NewsMobile conducted reverse image searches on multiple keyframes from the viral footage and performed relevant keyword searches. However, the searches did not yield any credible evidence confirming that Salman Khan appeared in the video.
We also found no verified video, official social media post or credible media report showing Salman Khan making the statement featured in the viral clip.
Further, Salman Khan has not shared the video on his verified social media accounts.
A frame-by-frame analysis of the footage revealed several telltale signs of digital manipulation. These include unnatural facial movements, inaccurate lip-sync, distorted body movements, inconsistent body proportions, and irregular lighting and shadows. The background also appears unusually smooth and lacks the depth and texture typically visible in authentic footage.
To further assess the authenticity of the video, NewsMobile analysed the footage using Hive Moderation, an AI-detection tool. The tool flagged the video as AI-generated with a high probability, providing further evidence that the footage has been digitally fabricated.
In conclusion, the viral video claiming to show Salman Khan asking fans to follow his new social media account is AI-generated and digitally manipulated.
