A video showing a man dancing while holding a glass of alcohol is being widely shared on social media with the claim that it shows retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra celebrating his appointment as the chief executive officer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption:
Jitendra Mishra seen dancing and drinking while celebrating his appointment as CEO of the Ram Temple, Ayodhya. 🍻
The beginning of corruption started from the stone collection for the Ram temple itself…
And the beginning of adultery started from the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram!

NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile investigated the viral post and found the claims to be false.
To verify the claim, we conducted a reverse image search using keyframes from the viral video. The search led us to the Instagram account of a content creator named Vikash Rana, who had shared a longer version of the same video on November 3, 2025.

We also found Rana’s Facebook account, where he identifies himself as a content creator. The viral video was also posted on this account in November 2025.
Notably, the man seen dancing in the viral video is not Rana himself. However, Rana regularly posts videos featuring the same man across his social media accounts, including Facebookand YouTube indicating that the clip had been circulating through his content well before the current claim.

We then compared the man seen in the viral video with publicly available photographs of retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra. A comparison of their facial features showed that they are two different individuals.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra celebrating his appointment as the chief executive officer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, is false.
