NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the image is AI-generated.
The NM team initiated its verification by running a keyword search using relevant terms related to the viral image and the Sushant Singh Rajput case. However, we could not find any credible news report or other reliable source carrying the viral visual or confirming the claim being made with it.
We then conducted a reverse image search of the viral visual to trace its origin and identify any earlier instances of the image. However, the search did not yield any credible or matching results that could establish the image as genuine.
During our verification, we also found several inconsistencies in the viral visuals, particularly in the facial features and other details of the individuals shown in the image. These irregularities raised further doubts about the authenticity of the visual.
To establish whether the image had been artificially generated, we analysed it using Hive Moderation’s AI detection tool. The analysis indicated that the viral image was AI-generated.
Hence, it is evident that the viral image being shared in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput case is not a genuine photograph but an AI-generated visual.
