NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile verified the claim and found that the video is AI-generated.
The NM team initiated its verification by running the key frames of the viral video through a reverse image search. However, we did not find any credible results establishing the authenticity of the video or confirming the incident.
We then conducted a keyword search to find reports of any such accident involving a car getting suspended in a web of wires beneath a flyover. However, we could not find any credible news reports corroborating the claim.
Upon closely examining the viral video, we noticed several visual inconsistencies. The car appears suspended in a complicated web of wires, raising questions about how such a heavy vehicle could remain entangled in that position. The surrounding scene, including the arrangement of the wires and the people gathered around the vehicle, also appears visually unnatural. These elements raised suspicions that the video may have been created using artificial intelligence tools.
For further confirmation, we analysed the video using Hive Moderation, an AI-generated content detection tool. The tool identified the video as over 99.9% likely to be AI-generated, supporting our findings that the viral footage is not authentic.
Our investigation establishes that the viral video is AI-generated. We found no credible evidence of an actual accident matching the scene depicted in the video.
